Growing to 3 to 4 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide, Vibrant Azalea is ideal for use as an accent or specimen, in groupings, mass plantings, or low hedges in partially shaded landscape borders, woodland gardens, and home foundation plantings. Butterflies love the flowers, and blooming branches can be cut for use to create stunning indoor floral arrangements. A fine addition to Azalea gardens, Asian gardens and cottage gardens.

Note: For our customers who live and garden north of USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 7a, where this Azalea variety is not winter hardy outdoors, you can enjoy growing it in containers that can be moved indoors during winter and placed back outside when temperatures warm up in spring.
Growing Preferences
Evergreen Azaleas are easy to grow when planted right and in the right spot. They prefer a moist but well-drained and acidic soil that is rich in organic matter and part sun. Morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun is ideal. Constantly soggy or wet soil is porblematic so make sure to plant in a well-drained site. Moderate drought tolerance when established.

We were completely satisfied with the secure way the 3 plants that we ordered were packaged, and with the timely arrival. They look healthy and are putting on new growth. Just waiting for the blooms next spring.———————————–We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come! Thanks for the great review and the kind words! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG
Bill & I saw a gorgeous Vibrant Azalea at Plant Delights in Raleigh. We asked Tony where we could find it and we’re told it was a Harris hybrid and hard to find. We were in Georgia and decide to look since this was the area Harris lived and did his work. When I googled and your nursery website came up, we were thrilled! We love to roam nurseries and we’re disappointed you were not open to the public and we were a little dubious of ordering online. However, when the three one gallon azaleas arrived, we were overjoyed. They were perfect and are now planted, blooming and putting in new growth! They are perfectly Vibrant!———————————-WBG Reply: Hi Elaine, Thanks so much for taking the time to provide your review of the Vibrant Azalea-Harris Hybrid.
