Special Attributes
The new series of Bloom ‘N Again® Azaleas offer the perfect mix of multi-season blooms, evergreen foliage, sun tolerance and exceptional cold hardiness. ‘Pink Explosion’ lives up to its name with a massive and stunning burst of large dark pink flowers with darker freckles in spring with a rebloom in summer and fall. Butterflies love the flowers, and blooming branches serve very well for cutting to create stunning indoor floral arrangements. This rebloomer is ideal for masses of color in partially shaded landscape and woodland borders. Some afternoon shade or filtered sun is appreciated.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing 3 to 4 feet tall and wide, ‘Pink Explosion’ Bloom ‘N Again Azalea is ideal for use as an accent in flowering shrub borders and smaller garden spaces or in groupings, mass plantings or as a colorful low hedge in larger landscape borders and home foundation plantings. Its brilliant dark pink blooms and abundance of flowers makes it one of the best selections for growing in larger containers and pots, which can be strategically placed to dress up decks, patios, porches, and other outdoor living spaces. Bloom ‘N Again Azaleas do quite well under tall trees and in woodland borders where they’ll get at least 3 to 6 hours of direct sun per day, preferably in the morning and evening.

Growing Preferences
When planted right and in the right spot, Bloom ‘N Again Azaleas are very easy to grow and long-lived. They were bred in the South so are exceptionally heat tolerant but are also cold tolerant.
Soil. In the ground, Bloom ‘N Again Azaleas adapt well to most soil types, provided the soil is well-drained. In general, like all other azaleas, the Bloom ‘N Agains prefer an organically rich, moist but well-drained acidic soil. Heavy clay or other poor draining soils can be amended with bagged top soil, potting soil or other soil amendments to enhance soil porosity.
In Containers: When growing Azaleas in containers we suggest a 50/50 blend of professional potting mix and potting soil. Know that whether growing in the ground or in containers, constantly soggy or wet soil is problematic for azaleas, and most other plants for that matter.
Sun. Pick a spot in the garden that receives at least 6 hours of full sun (preferably in the morning and /or evening hours) to help produce beautiful blooms and lush foliage. All-day lightly filtered sun, such as under tall trees, is okay. Though they will tolerate full sun, we think azaleas look and perform better with some shade or filtered sun during the afternoon.

I wanted an evergreen with a real pop of color and this looks like it will fit the bill. I have not seen it bloom yet. I also planted it where it gets more sun then the usual azalea so I am watching it and hoping its spot is not too bright. I have limited experience with the reblooming azaleas and am still experimenting with siting. The plant arrived in good condition and healthy. I am always pleased with the condition of plants from Wilson Bros.—————————————-Most reblooming azaleas will take a little more Sun than the traditional ones. Keep us posted! We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy it for years to come! Thanks for the kind words and great review! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG
