What’s more, new leaves emerge a highly attractive red-bronze in spring, holding their color well into summer. This exceptional beauty deserves a spot in every garden where it will grow.
Landscape & Garden Uses

Growing Preferences
The Cannon’s Double Exbury Azalea is very easy to grow in moist but well-drained humus rich soil and dappled shade or morning sun with afternoon shade. That said, in cool-summer climates it will it can be grown in mostly sun. As with most other azaleas, it does not like a constantly soggy or wet soil, which can cause problems with the roots. Exbury Hybrid Azaleas are very low-maintenance, requiring little if any pruning. That said, they respond well to pruning for shaping purposes, but not so much that it would spoil the natural form of this beautiful shrub!
